Sometimes there are these bands that just play their music in the wrong period of time. You hear these rock bands that should have been playing alongside Thin Lizzy, for example, or there are the nu-metal bands that play their music nowadays, but who should have opened for bands like Korn. Audiotopsy is one of those bands, which was resurrected from the remains of ’90 nu metal band Mudvayne. A professional Audiotopsy on the matter came to one conclusion: ‘Natural Causes’.

Unfortunately, I’ve been born a decade too early to experience the legendary hard rockers of W.A.S.P. in their original setting. Also, I’ve never been able to see Metallica, with Cliff Burton, open for them in the USA. With that out of the way I dare to say, I’ve never really been introduced to W.A.S.P. ‘Golgotha’, the new album by Blackie Lawless and companions, was my first encounter with their music. But man, I’m so very, very glad I got a chance to dig into this record!

Through a Kickstarter campaign these Americans succeeded to fund ‘Karma Sown’ and they have now confirmed a one time show with progressive giants Haken. My, oh my, this is a band that had the biggest kickstart of all the bands out there. In 2008 and 2009 The Answer has opened the shows of AC/DC on their Black Ice World Tour. So they traveled the entire world with one of the most renowned rock bands of all. And here they are, six years later, with their fifth album ‘Raise A Little Hell’.
